Migrating Winbox

This document explains how to migrate H-Sphere winbox to a different server. This procedure doesn't move third party products such as MS SQL and Miva. In order to use these products on the new server, you need to install them manually prior to Winbox migration.

Install H-Sphere winbox software on the target box.
In E.Manager, change the physical server IP of the corresponding logical Windows servers to the IP of the target box.
Create all accounts and IIS resources on the target box with the PhysicalCreator utility. If the content is already on the target server, back it up, because it will be overwritten on this step.
Copy customers' content to the HShome directory on the target box.
Download the setscrt.exe utility and run it to set correct owner and NTFS permissions on user home directories:
setscrt [-owner] [-ntfs] > setscrt.log
Export all SSL certificates with MMC Certificates snap-in on the source server, then manually install them on the target box. In each user's CP, switch SSL off and back on.
If your customers have problems with ASP.NET, switch their ASP.NET resoures OFF and back ON.
